M365 Intune & Security Specialist (Intermediate Level)
Location:
Hybrid work model: 3 days on-site at Phoenix House, 27 Conyngham Road, Dublin 8, and 2 days remote.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6 months (with options for two 6-month extensions)
- Start Date: March/April 2025
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7.5 hours per day, between 08:00 and 17:30
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced M365 Intune & Security Specialist to join our client's team in a hybrid working arrangement. This role requires a strong background in Microsoft Intune and security technologies. The specialist will provide best-practice guidance, implement security policies, and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure seamless deployment and security across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document best-practice recommendations for Intune and security configurations.
- Engage with stakeholders to define and implement use cases based on business needs.
- Conduct environment reviews and suggest improvements for better performance and security.
- Implement agreed use cases and monitor their impact.
- Provide support and expertise to the Cyber Security Unit in implementing security measures.
- Lead knowledge transfer sessions to ensure long-term security practices.
- Actively participate in meetings and collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure objectives are met.
Mandatory Requirements:
Experience (Minimum 5 years required):
- Extensive experience managing Microsoft Intune and endpoint security configurations.
- Expertise in onboarding and offboarding Windows and Mac devices, including Autopilot configurations.
- Hands-on experience in Windows Hello for Business and Conditional Access management.
- Proven ability to manage mobile access to corporate data and applications in a secure manner.
Qualifications (or equivalent certifications):
- Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100) – Demonstrates advanced knowledge in designing security strategies using Microsoft technologies.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate – Expertise in implementing security controls, managing identity, and access within Azure environments.
- Degree in Computer Science or an IT-related discipline (Proof of certification may be required before contract award).
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driving license (evidence may be requested).
- English proficiency at C2 Mastery or Proficiency level under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Key Competencies & Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF) for best practices.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Cybersecurity Reference Architecture (MCRA) for secure solution designs.
- Demonstrated success in implementing security measures and developing use cases in public sector or large enterprise environments.
- Strong ability to conduct environment reviews, provide security recommendations, and oversee successful implementations.
