Storage Specialist (Senior) - Hybrid (Fixed-Term Contract)

As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a skilled Storage Specialist (Senior) to join their team in a hybrid capacity.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
Location: Hybrid (Onsite - Dublin 8 & Remote)
Contract Start Date: 3rd June 2025
Contract Duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
Storage & Infrastructure Management:

• Manage and support HPe SAN solutions, ensuring performance and security.
• Provision LUNs and volumes to optimize storage allocation.
• Perform firmware upgrades, security patches, and hotfix implementations.
• Ensure ongoing stability and overall health of the SAN arrays.
• Manage dedicated SAN Fiber Channel networks and inter-site fiber links.
• Plan and support IT infrastructure projects.

• Administer Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) and Linux/Unix platforms.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for server-related issues.
• Apply system updates and security configurations as needed.

• Evaluate and implement necessary security measures for storage infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and data protection regulations.
• Monitor and analyze incidents to enhance system reliability.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance storage performance.
• Document critical tasks and develop custom reports as required.
• Participate in resource and capacity planning to ensure scalability.

• You have 7+ years of experience in storage management and administration.
• You hold HP-approved certification in Storage and MCSE or equivalent Microsoft Server Administration certification.
• You have hands-on experience managing HPe storage devices and Fiber Channel networks.
• You are proficient in PowerShell, CLI, and automation for SAN environments.
• You have experience in provisioning virtual machines and storage automation.
• You are comfortable working within ITIL frameworks.
• You possess strong problem-solving skills and take a proactive approach to IT infrastructure management.
