Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a dynamic team. The role will involve business process analysis, requirements gathering, project management, and providing critical documentation and system support. The ideal candidate will bring over 7 years of relevant experience in business analysis, project management, and process optimization. The successful candidate will be required to provide services at the designated office in Dublin 4 for a minimum of two days per week.
Contract Start Date: May 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter)
Contract Duration: 12 months
Working hours: 8 hours per day (excluding lunch or rest periods), Monday – Friday: 10:00-12:30 and 14:30-16:00 - Minimum of two days per week in the office.
Education: Level 8 qualification on the NFQ (Honours degree) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience working as a Business Analyst.
Certification: Project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile SCRUM).
Availability: Must be available to commence the role in May 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
English Proficiency: Fluent in English (native or equivalent proficiency at C2 level).
Business Process Analysis:
Conduct business process analysis, including process mapping and systematic analysis methodologies (e.g., LEAN Six Sigma).
Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering and process design.
Documentation & Reporting:
Build user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, and documentation to support solution delivery.
Provide system support and in-depth understanding of operational systems and processes.
Conduct research to build evidence supporting decision-making and business cases.
Prepare detailed specifications and manage solution development and implementation.
Project Management:
Manage business and system change, ensuring the delivery of process and organizational improvements.
Coordinate and execute system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide training as required.
Collaboration & Communication:
Liaise with management on process and organizational changes.
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide regular reports to business and technical stakeholders.
Systems Analysis & Design:
Demonstrate strong systems analysis skills with experience across multiple systems analysis and development methodologies.
Experience with prototyping techniques (e.g., wireframing, screen mock-ups).
Project Management:
Proven experience in project management with relevant certifications.
Ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines.
Experience with system testing, UAT, and in-system implementation.
Client Relationship Management:
Strong client relationship management skills and experience working within SCRUM or Agile environments.
General Skills:
Proven track record in team collaboration and excellent customer service.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience managing third-party service providers and stakeholders.
Familiar with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci).
