Test Analyst – Intermediate (x3 Roles Available)

 

Are you a capable and experienced Test Analyst ready to contribute to critical systems testing with discipline, accuracy, and a delivery mindset?
Do you bring hands-on test execution, functional analysis, and defect tracking expertise to fast-moving technical environments?

Three Test Analysts are required to support end-to-end quality assurance efforts in a high-impact digital transformation setting.

Location: Dublin 2
Work Model: Hybrid (onsite and remote as required)
Start Date: 1st July 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Contract Duration: 24 months (with two optional 12-month extensions)


About the Role:
As an Intermediate Test Analyst, you will deliver critical software testing services focused on system and user acceptance testing. You will work as part of a structured QA team under the guidance of senior testing professionals, collaborating closely with business users and technical stakeholders to ensure robust and traceable test coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute functional and user acceptance testing of system features and business processes
  • Develop, maintain, and execute test scenarios, cases, and regression test suites
  • Prepare test data and ensure its consistency and integrity
  • Identify, log, and track defects through resolution
  • Contribute to testing of new system outputs against existing system baselines
  • Support documentation efforts, ensuring test materials remain accurate and up to date
  • Liaise with the Project Manager and test leads on progress, blockers, and test metrics
  • Assist in the compilation of monthly and quarterly testing reports
  • Work with developers and business analysts to clarify functionality and ensure quality
  • Provide weekly status updates and assist in knowledge transfer to internal teams

Mandatory Experience & Skills:
  • 4 to 6 years’ relevant experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in the role of Test Analyst
  • Hands-on experience in end-to-end testing and quality assurance processes
  • Strong understanding of test data management, test case design, and defect tracking
  • Solid analytical ability and attention to detail in validating both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Availability to commence services from 1st July 2025
 
Educational/Professional Requirements (any one of the following):
  • Level 8 honours degree in a relevant computing discipline + 4 years recent ICT experience
  • Level 8 degree (any field with computing in final year) + 5 years recent ICT experience
  • Level 7 computing qualification + 6 years recent ICT experience
  • Level 6 computing qualification + 7 years recent ICT experience
  • Two industry-recognised certifications (including one relevant to this role) + 7 years recent ICT experience

Skills:
  • Exposure to structured SDLC environments and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into effective test cases
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working in public sector, finance, or regulated domains
  • Familiarity with common defect tracking and test management tools
