Business Development Manager – ICT Services & Solutions / IT Resourcing

Overview
We are supporting a growing ICT solutions provider that is expanding its Business Development capability as part of an ambitious growth strategy.
This opportunity is focused on developing ICT Services & Solutions and IT Resourcing opportunities, primarily through reseller and MSP networks, channel partners, and service delivery partners, rather than purely direct enterprise sales.
The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced technical and delivery team to develop new opportunities, strengthen partner relationships, and expand the organisation’s presence across the Irish technology services market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across ICT services, managed services, and IT resourcing.
- Build and maintain relationships with MSPs, ICT resellers, and channel partners.
- Develop opportunities for contract and permanent IT resourcing solutions within partner and client networks.
- Support the end-to-end sales cycle, including client engagement, quotations, proposals, and contract negotiation.
- Work closely with delivery teams to coordinate resource placement, contract extensions, and client requirements.
- Manage administrative elements of the sales and resourcing process including quotations, order processing, and contract documentation.
- Ensure appropriate PO coverage, contract management, and invoicing coordination for services delivered.
- Collaborate with finance teams on timesheet validation, invoicing support, and monthly billing cycles.
- Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high service levels and identifying opportunities for account growth and repeat business.
- Support internal teams to ensure projects and client engagements are delivered efficiently.
Candidate Profile
We are interested in candidates with experience in ICT services, IT resourcing, managed services, or technology sales environments, particularly within organisations working through reseller or MSP channels.
Relevant experience may include:
- IT recruitment or IT resourcing environments
- Managed services or technology service providers
- ICT resellers or systems integrators
- Inside sales, account management, or sales operations roles
Key Skills & Experience
- Business development or account management within ICT or IT services
- Understanding of IT resourcing, contractor management, or service delivery environments
- Experience supporting or managing the sales cycle from quotation to contract and invoicing
- Strong organisational skills managing contracts, purchase orders, and client documentation
- Experience working with finance teams on invoicing and billing processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced client-focused environment
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients and partners
