Reports to: ICT Services and Solutions – Sales Manager
Location: Hybrid (Office & Field-Based)
The Business Relationship Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing business within an existing set of accounts while driving new business growth through the reactivation of dormant accounts and acquisition of new customers.
This position operates as part of a dynamic and experienced ICT Sales team, combining customer relationship management, business development, and strategic growth responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain and grow existing customer accounts.
Reactivate dormant accounts and acquire new business.
Achieve year-on-year territory growth in both customer base and revenue.
Deliver an exceptional customer experience and ensure satisfaction.
Operates as part of a focused ICT Services and Solutions Sales team.
Reports directly to the ICT Services and Solutions Sales Manager.
Hybrid working model: office-based and field activities.
Engages extensively with customers and internal teams.
Contributes to a positive customer experience and company reputation.
Proactively engage with assigned customer accounts to maintain and protect business, revenue, and margin levels.
Monitor contractual commitments and ensure service delivery excellence.
Serve as the main point of contact and advocate for customers.
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
Understand customer needs and align them with available ICT services and solutions.
Work with Technical Account Managers and Technical Architects to deliver tailored solutions.
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities through analysis and customer insight.
Maintain an updated territory development and pipeline plan.
Achieve sales targets through proactive engagement and exceptional customer service.
Prepare quotations, process orders, and maintain accurate CRM records.
Write detailed and accurate tender submissions and proposals.
Collaborate constructively across departments.
Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
Commit to continuous personal and professional development.
Adhere to data protection and information security standards.
Education: Third-level qualification (Ordinary Bachelor’s degree or higher) in Business or Technical discipline.
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in relational sales or account management, ideally within the IT industry.
Certifications: IT Vendor Sales Training (e.g. Sophos, Datto, HPE, HP, Microsoft) or willingness to achieve within 12 months.
Technical Skills: Strong IT proficiency and experience with service management or ERP systems.
Other Requirements:
Full clean driver’s licence.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Project management experience or qualifications advantageous.
Tender or professional report writing experience desirable.
